Uruguay is a South American country teeming with mission opportunities. CCCS support of these school sites includes outreach to remote areas.

Last year was the first year for the Escuelitas Biblicas a project led by Mariana Mastrantono, the Director of Lutheran Hour ministries in Uruguay. The Bible schools serve over 125 children in San Pablo, Nuevo Paris and Manga. These small “Saturday Schools” are thriving. Their greatest joy is when the children come they are encouraged to invite others, and they do! The classes keep growing at a tremendous rate. By next year they foresee many more children coming to Saturday Bible classes.
