Rev. Amos Bolay, Chairman of the Liberia  CCCS Committee, has worked diligently to successfully register their CCCS schools with the national government. War torn Liberia is currently experiencing peace, and the national committee is using this gift to congeal the schools into a national Lutheran school system. Many students and families have been displaced by the war, and their CCCS scholarships are, for many, the only means of obtaining an education.

Working with Pastor Amos Bolay, CCCS began the national CCCS Committee in 2008. Representatives from all four regions of Liberia send representatives to meetings on a quarterly basis. The ability and tenacity of school officials to communicate effectively and work cooperatively has given rise to a new idea—a national Church of Liberia. CCCS Committee chair, Pastor Bolay, was elected its first president!
